Here are some questions that have been asked in regards to this bid
  1. I did not see a section D of the RFP that states the building square footage.  Can you please share the building square footage. 56,000
  2. Are we required to provide Equipment or is that provided by the School? Company will need to provide equipment
  3. Are we required to provide chemicals and supplies or is that provided by the School? The company can either buy the supplies and have it as part of the monthly bill which should be reflected in the bid, or we can pay for the supplies based on what the company needs.
  4. Are we required to provide consumables (toilet paper, paper towel, soap, trash liners, and hand sanitizer) or is that provided by the school? See answer number 3
  5. I see the school wants the new contractor to start on July 1st, do you know when you will let the contractor know that they won the bid, due to having less than 5 days from the day it is due till July 1st? We should know no later than Wednesday June 28. We put in July 1 so there is time to give the building a proper summer cleaning before students return.
  6. Are there weekend events that we are responsible for and if so, are they billable or to be included in the bid? Typically we do not hold weekend events, but if we did we would give you notice and they would be billable. 
  7. For the wood gym floors do you use an outside vendor to screen them yearly or is that our responsibility? The gym floor is tile.
  8. Are there any other documents related to the RFP that are not already on your website that you could send me? I have attached the floor plans. This is a very old building, in decent shape, but this is all I have as far as floor plans.
  9. Do you require a 1st shift day porter in addition to the second shift custodians? Yes, we must have a day porter
