Dear Parents and Students,

¡Hola! I hope everyone is doing well.  In order to keep our students engaged in learning Spanish during this time I wanted to share my plans with you for my class for the next couple of weeks.

I have created a Duolingo Classroom for our students for Spanish class. Duolingo is a free language learning app designed to help students learn a new language by providing challenges and interactive games. Once students sign up and start using the app, I will be able to track and encourage their progress through the Duolingo Dashboard. You can access the website through a computer, tablet or smartphone.

Joining my Duolingo classroom is easy, just follow the instructions on the back of this page. Make sure to log in with the URL: http://duolingo.com/o/qxbmwx . When returning to my classroom it is important to use the log in button with the username and password you created. *You do not need to press the get started button every time you log in.

Students will be assigned lessons on the app to practice new Spanish vocabulary. In addition, they will also have access to Duolingo’s Tiny Cards. I have created a couple of sets for students to test the skills that we have been learning in the classroom. You can access Tiny Cards thru Duolingo Classroom.

Please contact me via email with any questions or concerns. Have fun learning Español! ¡Adios!

Best Regards,

Señora Koprowicz
